Nexplanon implant
Hi, sorry i'm new to this group/app. I had this birth control put in by my OBGYN in March this year. Everything seems fine so far. I think I had my first menstrual cycle, lasting about 6-7 days... on & off meaning light and heavy/ new blood and dark, old blood I guess. Previously my cycles were light and only 4 days and regular whereas this time it was a little off schedule, but not bad considering it was my first after being inserted.
Anyhow, does anyone have experience with these? Is there a minimum length of time to leave them in? I am 40 years old and chose this method with my husband because of health concerns on my end. I have a kidney transplant and am diabetic along with a laundry list of other things making me high risk so we need to wait awhile before we can start trying. Anyhow... long story short, ;)...😁 I've spoken to my dr. of course but wanted to see if anyone was willing to share their personal experience. Thank you!
