Should legally admitted VISA holders seeking permanent resident status be denied because they (legally) used non-cash government benefits like Medicaid, CHIP, etc?
There is a government proposal that would jeopardize the chances of achieving lawful permanent residence/green cards for Visa holders who use Medicaid/CHIP, tax credits, etc. while seeking permanent resident status. Do you support this proposal? I’ll post part of the NPR article on this topic.
