Has anybody had luck with Femara but not with Clomid?

I’ve done three cycles of clomid now...two with IUIs and one without. No luck. I’ve gotten pregnant on my own twice, but lost both pregnancies. I don’t have PCOS, and I seem to ovulate more or less regularly. I’m 40 in a few days, and after these losses and watching due dates and Mother’s Days pass, I’m beyond sick of waiting.

Clomid gives me nasty emotional side effects, so I’m switching to Femara for this IUI. Has anyone moved on to Femara and had success where they did not with Clomid?
