When to tell your boss you’re pregnant

I need advice on when to tell my bosses I’m pregnant. I don’t think they’re going to be excited for me, so I’m really dreading it. My first OB appointment isn’t until July 3rd, and I was planning on waiting until after that to tell them, but a gossipy coworker found out (the person at work I confided in told her daughter who also works there 🙄) and I’m afraid they’ll overhear it before I tell them. Any advice on how to go about telling them and when?

I have been so scatter brained at work the people I work with closely day to day have figured it out. I did my first ultrasound today and am getting detailed results tomorrow. I'll be telling my manager on Monday but everyone else waits until 12 weeks

I have my first appt on June 4th when I'll be 7w4d. The manager I report to already knows and a few coworkers figured it out thanks to the frequent bathroom runs, food aversions and often finding me half asleep in my office lol. I'll probably tell the remainder of my coworkers in this office after that appt and the big boss man/remote coworkers closer to 12 weeks..

I waited until 26 wks last time. I wore a lot of baggy clothes and fashionable scarves. It was a new contract and I rocked up 12 wks preg so didn’t want to say anything until I had proved myself. I only worked 6 months before I went on mat leave.
I started a new contract 1 week before confirming this preg so I d f won’t be saying anything soon to my boss. It’s a 12 month fixed term contract and I’ll barely make 8 months of it. I think I’ll wait until around 20+ weeks again. There is a law that u must tell your workplace by a certain time (I think it’s about 28-29 wks) but you will need to look that up

I have told mine early as they are aware I had a MC previously, they will keep it private and they have a duty of care towards you. Don’t worry about telling them, they can’t be annoyed at you for it :)

I work in education. I started getting “morning sickness” the week before my period was due to come. I had positive tests 5 days before expected period. My sickness has been hitting just about every night. So I have been losing sleep. I either take a bit longer to get into work or by 12 I’m like a zombie. I decided to tell my supervisor around 4 weeks so that they understand if I’m not as punctual or on the ball as usual. It has been a positive for me! Perhaps if you are also experiencing something similar you can use it for the basis of how you tell your work!

I have two jobs. Private investigator and security officer. I told my pi manager so he can load me up with cases for extra $$$ I’m not telling my security job until prob 3 months when I start showing and it’s unsafe. I may have to do a light duty.
