My man talking about my thighs lmao

I just laughed so hard... I am so blessed with the beautiful soul of this man that I am engaged to. He makes me very happy. I've had really bad self esteem issues since I started being abused at 4 years old. My self esteem issues got especially worse when I was a preteen and teen. Often times I would starve myself just to make sure that I wasn't "to fat." Anyway, even through starving myself I would always look down at my very thick thighs and be disgusted.

Well fast forward to last night. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I looked in the mirror while my fiance was standing there... I said "dang I have thick thighs yuck!!!" My fiance spun around looked me up and down and said "Babe I love your thighs. I love that you have thick thighs. If you want to tone them up a little bit I wouldn't miiii....." He stopped in the middle of saying that he wouldn't mind if I toned my thighs a bit and he garbled out some apology and that's not how he meant it and he loves my thighs and he wouldn't change them... the man was so embarrassed about what he had said. I accidently smirked a bit as he continued to jumble his words and dig a deeper hole for himself. He saw my smirk and then he took a deep breath and said "I'm really sorry baby I do love your body."

He is the sweetest man in the world!!!! I can't stop smiling when I think about how much we've helped each other through and how much he loves on me.

Ladies, take some time to appreciate your guys. Maybe they don't mean what they say to you the way you are taking it. Maybe they're just trying to encourage you to love your body like they love your body but they're not sure how to get that across so they say something that you end up taking the wrong way.

I'm so blessed with this man that I get to marry and have children with.
