cooling down hot toddler?

How can I keep my 2 year old cool during the night? It's been so hot here today and my daughter is sleeping but her face is bright red and she is so sweaty around her neck. Her body, legs ect don't feel so hot to the point I'm worried, she just looks like she is too warm. The window is open as wide as it can go (which isn't wide at all plus there is no breeze.) We also don't have air con or a fan because it's cold here 85% of the time. I'm struggling with the heat myself so I can't imagine how my daughter is feeling. How can I keep her cool through the night if I don't have air con ect?  Edit- it's 9.30pm here so going out to buy a fan isn't an option at the moment, my daughter is asleep in bed and we live alone. I just need ideas until I can get a cheap fan.

You need to be very careful with this because she could have a heat stroke. Maybe invest in a fan for her room. Try a cool rag on her head and remove her blankets. During the day, if she gets too hot, try a cool bath.

My son gets super hot, even with the ac on. I bought a cheap spray bottle and ice tray meant for water bottle cubes. I refill every night and if he wakes up hot he sprays his feet and just over him to cool himself down. We've been doing this since he was about 3 years old and it works well. He also has a stainless steel bottle of ice cold water next to his bed.

Probably best to go buy a fan. But when my doctor is sick and she is so hot from a fever I put a cold wet rag on her forehead while she sleeps.

cool damp rag on her, if you have frozen ice bottles or ice packs ghen you can put one near her and it will help cool the air some

If getting a fan isn't an option atm, you can get a damp washcloth and leave it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, place it in a baggie so it doesn't make a mess and place it on the back of her neck or her back, or you can get a hot water bottle (something any female who has periods should own - lifesaver for cramps) and fill it with cold water and place it in bed with her.
