Which generic diapers/wipes?

I have a $100 gift card I’ve been saving to buy diapers, and since I’m due in less then a month I need to get some diapers and wipes since I currently have none. I wanted to start out with generic brands to see if baby can tolerate them before going to more expensive brands and wanted to know which you thought was better out of the two? I’ve read some mixed reviews on both so I’m not sure which one to start with. I do have about 50ish luvs diapers from my sister since her son didn’t use all of them when he was born, so I also have them to try out

I’m not sure about generic diapers, but Kirkland (Costco) wipes are wonderful!

I recommend reading into them and choosing a brand that doesn’t use Dioxin to bleach their products ☺️ It’s the number one carcinogen and is linked to reproductive issues in women; crazy what we put on our babies can negatively affect them that much later in life! I think it should be illegal for them to even use that on baby products but it’s not 😒

If you have a Costco membership, I highly highly recommend the Kirkland diapers. They’re made by the same company that makes Huggies, but you pay almost half the price! I’ve never had any issues with rash, blowouts, or leaks.

We have tried Huggies and Pampers in the past, even some cloth diapers, but the only wipes and diapers that have worked for us (almost no diaper rashes, almost no leaks or blowouts) have been the Kirkland brand from Costco.

I go for luvs for diapers past size 2 (size 1 pampers until they are size 2 just cuz they are really soft and has the yellow to blue line when they go pee) and walmart brand wipes works great fragrance free tho

Has anyone tried Aldi’s Little Journey brand? We shop there for most of our groceries and their baby things are so much cheaper than other brands, but haven’t heard much about the quality.

Up&up; is awesome. Way worth the money & more. Don't ever think just cause you paying more $, that it's better. Love it better than luvs.. luvs are kind of lumpy once wet to me & aren't as absorbant as the up&up.; Parent's choice are horrible in my opinion. Super thin & cheap & made my son's butt always turn red & break out into a rash.

I use Parents choice wipes but I can’t stand their diapers. I use Luvs.
