We like ours. It’s nice to see him when hes restless without having to go in and get him excited. 
Plus you get gems like this when they start noticing them 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have both. I love the video monitor just so i can see if he’s sleep whining or actually awake. But when going on a trip i bring the audio monitor since it’s easier to bring along. 
My video one just sucks Bc it dies super quick. But it usually stays on my nightstand on the charger. So it doesn’t bother me that much.

Absolutely worth it. You can't always hear when your baby is in distress. It's a huge safety issue to me to not have video.

We have the summer infant monitor. We also have a nanny cam that was set up prior to getting the monitor.  The only gripe I have with it is the monitor you watch with doesn't last long on battery.  Maybe 2 hours.

I didn't use a video, only an audio monitor and it's been fine. I wanted a video monitor but my MIL bought us an audio so I didn't want to complain since it was a gift... works fine
