do you like velcro or snaps for newborns

I see a lot of people say they like how easy velcro is to change a newborn but I'm concerned with how fast they wear and possibly not getting as good a fit. what is your experience?

Answer

Velcro is a godsend for those middle of the night changes. As long as you get quality diapers you shouldn’t have to worry about it wearing out. Newborn diapers only fit for a couple months

I liked snaps with my first kid but their is a small learning curve if someone else is doing it. Velcro is super easy for other caretakers.

there are pros and cons to both snaps
usually last longer
harder for baby to take off
terrible with squirmy babies
when baby is in between sizes it can be annoying 
Velcro
great for squirmy baby's 
precise fit in between sizes
baby can.easily get off once they figure it out 
not as long of a life span 
easy to fix 
quicker to put on
