Ranting
I'm begging anyone who works in customer service & runs a cash register to please not demean people who pay in change. Here's my story.
We got free tickets to a baseball game. My SO lost his job recently so times are tough. I wanted to buy my 21 month old baby an ice cream cone. All I had was $5 in quarters. The ice cream was $4.75. I hand the cashier the quarters. She starts yelling louder than hell so everyone can hear "OMG ALL change!!?? Uhg now I have to count all this?! " and rolled her eyes. I lost it! I said in a calm voice "lady money is money" she responds "calm down you don't need to be rude" I say back "your being rude, it's money period!"
I honestly wish I would have reported her to a manager. That's so disrespectful.
Something very similar happened at a Dollar Store a few months back.
I worked in banking for years, you never make comments like that when people bring you change or $25k it's so rude in my opinion.
People can be so awful 😔
