My mother in law has failed her children where they are lost in the adult world. One of her sons wife had to teach her son how to be a man because he did not grow up with a man around. All the way into his mid 30’s he stayed with his mom and she didn’t require him to contribute to anything but take out the trash. His wife when she was his fiancée had to tell him after 10 months of no financial contribution to their household to help out and he mentioned to her that he never did because she didn’t ask him too. She almost called off the wedding and my mil called her and told her “stay on him it’s about time for him to grow up and it’s my fault”. My mil has 4 kids and I see where she went wrong with all of them including my husband.
