Husbands annoying habit; Rant
My husband has an extremely annoying habit; of my daughter falls or gets hurt in any way, he drops/throws whatever he has in his hands and runs to wherever my daughter and usually myself are at. Then yanks her and cradles her. Now don’t get me wrong he’s a great dad, but if my daughter is in my arms and I’m trying to calm her down, he yanks her anyways to hug and kiss and calm her himself. Then if she falls on my watch or gets hurt on my watch which is usually always since I’m the one with her 24/7 he glares the shit out of me like ima bad mom.
Tonight I was getting my daughter ready for bed (she’s 1 1/2) and I’ve been horribly sick with the stomach flu for a week (nothing stays in my belly) so I’ve been telling him for a few days now I feel like shit,(weak, if I do too much I get dizzy and want to faint)but so far he’s ignored me. Anyways lifting my 33 lb now makes me sweat like crazy and makes me extremely tired right now. And I lifted my pumpkin up to put her in bed and I dropped her. My arms caved underneath me and she fell. With a Big Bang her head hit the floor and she started crying. I obviously felt horrible and picked her up and started apologizing hugging and massaging her head.... my husband was in the restroom a door down from the bedroom, and all I hear is something being thrown and the sound an object makes when it breaks and the pieces fall all over the floor. Then I heard his running and bam he yanks our baby away and starts doing that himself and starts questioning me. And when I tell him what happened he says I threw her on the floor and we ended up having a fight about it. Now I’m crying cuz I feel so guilty, so sick, and like the worst mom in the world.
