I want to tell people about my anxiety but nobody believes me and I feel like nobody even cares and I think I also have depression and lately it has been really hard.

I have the same exact problem and it’s so annoying and frustrating. I was trying to talk to one of my fiends about what I feel because I trusted her. I told her that I feel like there is a timer in my brain to do something and if I don’t do it in time something bad will happen. She just laughed and said, “ what? That’s so dumb” and it bothered me so much. Like “no it’s not dumb it makes me have panic attacks and completely freak out and not want to leave my room, I constantly feel anxious about the littlest things and no one gets it” I obviously didn’t say that because I honestly didn’t want to talk to her. I gained more trust in her and told her about panic attacks that I have and more symptoms of what I feel. She then proceeded to say “i mean I guess you might have ocd or something but you definitely don’t have anxiety. But like I doubt you have ocd cuz ur room is so messy” that pissed me off so much. I wish I had someone to talk to who understands me but I feel like there’s no one.

I jave severe anxiety, panic and depression. It feels like you are alone and no one gets it but trust me there are a lot of people that struggle. My mother went through it and my sister goes through it as well. Its not only hard to deal with but hard to accept too. I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. We are here together honey

please know you're not alone. my mother never believed me, she would only laugh at me. It's hard to find someone to listen, and you may have to talk directly to your doctor. I went to the hospital because of a panic attack and my doctor brought up anxiety so I've been able to get help. but you are not alone please remember that, and I may not know you but I love and care for you.
