Best BC method?

Question

I have an appointment in a few days to get on BC and I’ve done a lot of research. I just don’t know which is best. I have really bad periods and l am 16. There are downsides to all of the methods but I would really like the peace of mind that I’m at less of a risk of getting pregnant. Please comment with your thoughts.

Nexplanon is super effective, and nothing to remember like the pill. I have used it for a long time, and it paused my periods for the 5 years I used it! (Each implant lasts 3 years, buy I had another one put in after that)  It is totally healthy how it stopped my periods, and I'm super grateful because mine were awful too! I swear by this method, but it isn't for everybody. Some women do experience a lot of bleeding or other side effects from it, just depends on the person. However, if it's not a good fit for your body, the doctor can remove it at any point! 🤗 It's always a bit of trial & error finding the right fit for you, so best of luck!

i am using the patch, but i'm allergic to the adhesive they put on it, and the hormones ruptured an ovarian cyst, so i like the pill much better.
