Surrogacy intentions...

Here’s the issue, we’ve already been matched with potential parents and we are in the process of signing the final contract. However, when I went to get the contract notarized, I got a call from my attorney. The intended parents wish to add “NO SEX FOR A YEAR”

What the heck is wrong with these people? I’ve been married and only have sex with my husband for years now.

I told them no, but I really like the parents and don’t want to wait a long time to be matched again. Ideas, thoughts, comments?

Update: I basically told my attorney to tell The Intended Parents that we are sad to loose them but we will search for other parents and we wish them the very best because,y husband and I agreed not to have sex until everything was safe. We never intended on waiting a year to have sex again. In the end, the intended parents (or IP’s) decided that request was crazy. We are now 6 weeks pregnant and this baby has so much around him already. He’s not a part of our family by blood, but he is however, and will always be a part of our hearts.
