Tomorrow is the 4th & my bf will be taking our 3 month old to his family’s house. I cannot go because I will be at work. I’ve been around his family before & I won’t say they’re wrong but they just do things differently than I’d prefer. I told my bf some things to be on the lookout for since this will be the first time most of his family meets our daughter. I asked him to make sure no one kisses her, no kids pick her up, if she’s crying because she’s uncomfortable with someone don’t let them keep holding her because he feels like she “needs to get used to them”🙄 & I asked him not to let anyone give her anything to taste. I specifically said these things because the times I’ve been around, I’ve seen this allowed with other babies in the family. He’s not paying me any mind & says I have too many rules & not to tell him what to do with his daughter
