Getting over a man

I’ve had this thing for this guy for quite awhile now. I think I first realized my feelings in January. I always thought he was nice and attractive but I didn’t think hard about it until then. We’ve actually become closer in the past few months. I just think that I need to move on though. He’s my coworker and he’s also older than me. We are probably better off just being friends.

One of my friends was saying how I need to get out there as I haven’t dated in awhile and I realized that I’ve been avoiding dating as I was hoping things would work out this guy.

Anyone been in this boat? How to I get over someone whom I’ve had feelings with for so long?
