Boyfriend wants a DNA test...help!

Hi everyone, I’ll try to make this quick.

I’ve been living with another guy for a few months, he’s my best friend and roommate. I got pregnant in April and I told my boyfriend. He’s gone back and forth from being supportive to being.. immature.

Anyway, he now says he wants a dna paternity test even though it’s 100% his kid and I’ve told him that. I get it for peace of mind - but he WONT SIGN the birth certificate until he gets the results back. It can take WEEKS. He says it’ll create trust but I feel it putting a wedge between us and it’s not the way I want to start our new life together.

Am I wrong for being upset? I’ve never done anything for him to not trust me. I’ve never cheated on him. He has cheated on me. Doesn’t this show he doesn’t trust me? Is it ridiculous that he won’t sign the birth certificate until he gets the results?
