Same old story with my fiancé 🙄

Alcohol has been a big problem in mine and my fiancé’s relationship (being from him). He messed up plenty of times and blamed it on the alcohol but never quit. I finally had enough and told him it was alcohol or his family to which he was good for a few weeks/months then it started again with a few beers here and there, to his same old tricks going drinking whilst I’m out of town, but lately he ASSUMES that telling me he has had a drink means I can’t be mad because he told me and didn’t lie like he used to! I’ve told him that that does not make it better and him promising to stop drinking for me and our kids to stay in this relationship should mean just that! All I want to do is leave but he makes it seem like I’m a bitch and overreacting because he ‘only had a few cause his boss made him’ or ‘atleast he told me the truth instead of lying about it’. His the biggest hypocrite when it comes to me vs him and I don’t know how to try make him understand where I’m atleast coming from. Yes he says he only has a few but if I notice his been drinking it’s obviously more than a few and I’m not okay with this because of our past.
