He lied about his age.

So about a year ago, i was 17 going on 18. I met a guy on facebook and we started messaging. He looked a bit older than me I could tell so I asked him how old he was, he replied with 26. I told him that it was too big of an age gap, plus he has kids which was always a deal breaker for me because I have none. Anyways we kept talking as friends and I rlly started to like him. I was turning 18 in a month and a half so I said screw it and went out with him. We went on a date and instantly connected and had a lot of fun. We start dating.

4 months later I get suspicious of him and go through his phone to find out he was sleeping with and talking to about 20 other girls. I got mad and tried to leave which he then grabbed me and choked me out. Needless to say I left and never came back.. My boyfriend now , his brother is friends with a guy who knows my ex. And he told me that his brother told him that he’s not 26, that he’s 33. I’m so beyond disgusted. He didn’t even look 33 at all, I had no clue, I didn’t think anyone would lie about age like that. I can’t help but to feel so violated and gross. He’s basically a pedophile and I want to confront him so bad but I also don’t wanna talk to him. I know I shouldn’t have talked to him when I wasn’t 18 yet but I was young n stupid.

Can I and should I get him in trouble for this??!?? Fyi I live in michigan
