Introducing bottle?

Question

Does anyone have any tips on how to introduce a bottle to a 3 week old? So far she’s either choked on it or just kinda thrusts her tongue but won’t latch on it. We’re using the dr.browns but have a couple other brands as well. I just want to get her started so there won’t be an issue when I go back to work. She has a tongue tie so I’m not sure if that will affect her bottle feeding.

We use brezza bottles. My son had a horrible sucking reflex when he was born (preemie) and would often choke if we weren’t careful enough with the hospital bottles. When we got him home, we started using the brezza bottles. The level one nipple do not allow flow unless baby is adequately sucking. This prevented him from choking as well as improved his sucking reflex.

Try diff bottles cause some flow slower than others. Its hard to choose bottles though! So many brands! We are going to try Comotomo, Smilo, and Phillips Avent Anti Colic

We have a chicco bottle that’s shaped more like a boob so it doesn’t confuse her. I used doctor Browns for my son and he took it fine but I like what we’re using for our daughter now better. The flow might be a little quicker so set your baby up a little more when feeding so it doesn’t come out as fast if he’s choking. I would keep trying once a day and also it helps if someone other than you offers the bottle so he can get use to other people feeding him

We used Tommee Tippee since the nipple was so wide on it, it was shaped more like a boob. 
Also make sure you have slow flow nipples. So they are either called newborn or number zero instead of 1, 2 or 3. That way she has to work to get the milk out instead of it just flowing out and making her choke a little! Definitely experiment with different brands if you have them. Babies prefer different things.
