Mirena IUD (unsure where to post)

Moms with Mirena what is, or was your experience?

I am currently on the mini pill , but I am breastfeeding so it doesn’t have the estrogen to regulate my period. And I have had my period every 2 weeks for the last 2 months.

I cannot deal with menstrual symptoms every 2 weeks it’s becoming very overwhelming and annoying.

My Dr. recommend Mirena and I know there are horror stories (as with everything else) .

Any women out there who have it and like it? Or dislike ?
