Do you girls think it’s okay to say within the first couple months of dating someone (about 1-3 months in) to say that you are confident that the person you are dating is the one? I’m asking because I’ve been dating this guy for 2 months and I feel like he could be the guy that I want to be with forever. I’m nervous also about vocalizing this because I feel like he will think I’m crazy so I want to see what y’all think and feel free to share stories about when you felt like this or why you feel like this can’t be a thing!

I don't believe the phrase "when you know, you know", because our brain will act differently in the honeymoon phase. I felt strongly when I first started dating my husband that we might be able to make the distance. I clicked with him in a way I never experienced with anyone else. it was just completely different. But I knew very well that eventually the honeymoon phase would wear off and that would be the real test. So I waited it out while also staying optimistic. He really did end up being the one for me, but it doesn't always work out that way.

I totally knew!! With my ex!! Only time can really tell. You can love someone 100% with all of your heart and end up divorced. Marriage is 20% love and 80% hard work, choosing to stay, negotiating, compromise. I’ve had feelings with every single person I’ve dated. HaHa! My husband is my husband because we choose to work through whatever comes our way.

Personally wouldn't tell him this so early on, but only you know how he'd possibly react to it. I've told my boyfriend that I knew he was a good guy a couple of times later down the line.

The first day i met him. We were getting together to discuss buisness it was a  financial meeting. Then out of nowhere I flat out told him "your gonna marry me one day". I have never in my life seen a black man turn so red 😂. I saw every single one of his teeth he smiled so big. Of course he thought i was a little crazy and caught him off guard but we are still together.

He suddenly jumped up and rushed over to help an elderly woman whose walker had gotten stuck and was about to fall in the doorway of the coffee shop we were in.

I wouldn't tell him but I think it's possible to know. My husband and I dated briefly freshman year of college and broke up. Sophomore year, I got to school and just had a weird feeling something was gonna happen with us, but I didn't know what. It's odd, it gave me this calm sense that I never had with anyone else.
