My baby just turned 8 weeks. I joined a gym that has a daycare and accepts children aged 8 weeks and above. They watch the baby for 1hr 45 min while you work out and shower. I don’t have any family in the area and my husband commutes far for work so this would be the only way I could work out. When I told my friend about this, she said “didn’t your doctor recommend you wait till baby is 3 months for daycare.” She also made the comment in the past that kids in daycare get sick a lot (she has 3 of her own). What is everyone’s thoughts about this? Am I being selfish for even considering it? Obviously I don’t want my baby to get sick.
