Questioning taking a pregnancy test

Hi ladies

I am questioning taking a pregnancy test six days before my period because I just had unprotected sex a week ago. I've been having some pain around my abdominals I've been pregnant before but miscarried and never noticed these pains and I never have cramps before a period. I don't think that anything is going to show up if I do. I need advice please! Thank you please no judgement
