High hcg levels after mmc - what to do

Hi All,

We found out we had an mmc back in June (found out at 11 wk appt baby stopped growing at 8 wks). D&C; on 6/11, almost 8 weeks later hcg levels are down to 6. I’ve been hoping to move on and try again but have been so upset thinking it could still be 6+ weeks until I get my next period. Is there anything I can do to get there faster? Even though we are emotionally ready to try again, every day we wait I feel further away from getting pregnant. I know we have other friends who are trying, and it’s heartbreaking to think they will have their 2nd or 3rd before we have our first.
