Why do men do this?

I'm 22 years old and I had my first baby when I was 19 and the father was abusive and also a mama's boy I got tired of it so I left and got a restraining order. At 21 I had my 2nd baby with someone I knew for 7 years we went through custody battles he was also a mama's boy.his mom threatened me while I was pregnant and he said nothing to her about it. But me and him moves passed everything but once again we started having problems with his mom and sister. But later I found out I was pregnant again with twins he told me he doesn't care about the baby he doesn't want the baby and told me to kill it. I was never going to kill my baby but I had a miscarriage. He doesn't know about the miscarriage. Im depressed because of the miscarriage its hard knowing that you carried a child that you would never meet but his words just made it worse. I find myself feeling very sad and wanting to do spiteful things towards him. I hate feelings like this.Why do men treat women like this? What should I do?
