Any suggestions parents and teachers?

We are teaching our two year olds colors and I was wondering what kind of activity we could do to help. Not like anything we would have to go out and buy but something we can come up with to do.

We made flash cards, two of each color so it's more of a matching game. On her own, she decided to bring the cards around and try to match colors to different objects.

also when talking about familiar objects (strawberry, ball, etc) just add on to it "little red strawberry" or  "big blue ball" that sort of thing

you can make home made flash cards, color on paper and tell them the color as they color, point to random objects and go over the colors that way, go through books/pictures and point out the colors, etc. Those are just a few way my daughter learned. And lots of praise when they get the color correct! a little praise goes a long way
