Need advice .?

My 2 year old has hand foot & mouth. It is very aggravating he has had it for like a week his doctor said give him tylenol/ibuprofen & drink plenty water. Well its not working & he has a cold on top of it i have been giving him his nebulizer to kind pf control it but he has difficulty sleeping because of the cold. He was on amoxicillin but he is allergic to it what to do .?

I used to work at a daycare where HFM went around the whole building! 
I'm sorry your little one has to go through this ! I would take your little one to his pediatrician if you can and see what else they can do especially since he's sick.
in the meantime make sure to just clean all his toys, wash his bedding daily. make sure whatever he plays with us cleaned before the next day to prevent re infection. I myself and my daughter never caught it while I worked there and for my class only 3 children got it and was able to keep the rest from getting it. 
spraying Lysol and cleaning toys with bleach water will help!

It will run its course. Calamine lotion will take the sting out

Use alo and theres at Walmart for kids about that use also Benadryl it will help clam the Irritation down and the redness and edging

You can call the ER and ask to speak with the pediatrician on call. They may have other suggestions.

My daughter got it also it’s very contagious so if u have other babies be careful.. but my doctor said there nothing he can give her to make them go away just gave her medicine to help with the pain and becomfortable and not so fussy so he gave her  benadryl and wow! It works wonders helps numb the pain. I would give her 1.5ml
