Please help

My baby will be 8 months soon. How do you ladies do it ? I’m EBF my baby and all she wants to do is be held . Everyone says, put her in a safe place and let her cry she will be fine . She does not let me do anything . I can’t even shower all she wants to fo is be in my arms. She does not have a crib or a play pen only walker and high chair . She cries so much and I end up grabbing her again . Do I let her cry or what do I do . I need help ?

Update: She sleeps in my bed . My husband didn’t let me buy her a crib because our other kids never wanted to sleep on them. He said it was a waste of many . She has a swing that she will not stay in it at all not even to sleep in it .
