Confused? Lol

So I started my period yesterday and it wasn’t bad like light bleeding and everything. So i figured this one wouldn’t be as bad as they have been recently. Well I get to work today and I was extremely wrong I’m bleeding through everything i have and what not. Well I work a 12 hour shift and I can’t take a break seeing as where I work there’s only two of us and the other person is new and cant be left alone. So when my boyfriend gets off I mention that I don’t have midol and that I need more tampons but can’t leave. I also had said I wasn’t going to ask him to bring me any because I figured he was going to his friends and didn’t want to bug him. This his response me saying that. I’m not sure how to take this...

Am I in the wrong for mentioning it to him and not even asking? And I don’t understand why it’s a problem for him to bring me things in the first place.

I get heavy periods and I have never needed my partner to get me anything. 
At home I always have my menstrual cup, a couple of packs of tampons and a couple of packs of pads. 
While I’m out of the house I have at least 12 tamping and 5 pads, wherever I go. I even have this stuff when I’m not due for my period just in case Aunt Floe shows up unexpectedly. I never trust that a low flow is going to stay light. 
Your boyfriend has a point. You need to be 100% prepared. 30 minutes each way is a long way for him to drive to bring you stuff that you should’ve had with you to begin with.

I would understand if it was a one off then I would say he is being a bit mean but if it is a monthly thing and you are not prepared each month I can understand. My SO would be annoyed at me.... but I do things like that to him all the time 😁

I mean if you have a history of heavy bleeding I would bring enough no matter what. You cant expect for him to be bringing your stuff. He has his own things to do too. What wouod you do if you didnt have him?

He's actually right. You should always be prepared. I used to have extra pads in my truck and purse and work locker. Whenever its nearing your period BE PREPARED.
