My money my kid

My fiancé always makes it a point since he works that it’s his money and he can spend it how he wants to this morning he wanted a dip and that $10 was suppose to go to fuel so I can go get my 3 hr glucose test done and as he walked out the door because I got mad he took it he said well it’s my money. And I screamed well then fuck it’s my kid and my last name. Is that wrong of me. I feel like he doesn’t care about anyone but himself. I am a month in a half away from having her and I am starting to lean on giving her my last name since a we aren’t married and b. He hasn’t done crap to get ready for her and constantly thinking about himself. Am I being too prideful?
