I'll just jump right in, I'm 20 years old and I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my first child. I went today 8/23 for my anatomy scan and measurements. I've knows his gender since I was 13 weeks and I've also known since I was 12 weeks that my left ovary was inlarged but we dont know if it was like that before or after my pregnancy, so they measure it every time we have a scan. Well today in the middle of it my tech Insisted I have the ultra sound where they insert the wond thing into your vagina( I'm great with medical terms 😂) saying my cervix didn't look right. So obviously I do as told and come to find out my cervix is right on the edge of making me a risky pregnancy (supposed to be 30 mines 28) So for the next two weeks I have use a vaginal suppository (yay my favorite 😐) every night to try and make sure it doesn't further shorten just as precaution, but said it was nothing to worry about. Obviously I'm worried a little because I know what intailes having a short cervix and if it does continue to shorten. I'm hoping it will reach 30 by the next two weeks and I won't have anything to worry about 🤞🏻Did any other mommas deal with a similar situation? if so how did things turn out?
