Is it normal??

My newborn (3 weeks+5 days) grunts and moans and moves around a lot in her sleep. She will do it for a few seconds then stop and do it again. It is different then her I need to poop grunts. I was just wondering if it is normal for a newborn or baby in general to do this? Normally I would get up and feed her because I thought that is what she was wanting but now I’m second guessing that. Any advice??

Yup totally normal, my girl went through a grunting stage in her sleep for a few weeks then stopped

Definitely normal. Weird, but normal. My baby would even make like this wheezing sound like he was struggling to breathe but he wasn’t. It’s crazy the noises that can come from something so teeny

This is very normal. You can leave them be if you think they are ok. I always left my newborns in their bassinet until they started crying. But you know your baby best.

Babies move and make noises in their sleep just like kids and adults do. You know your baby best, but for my little guy, I would pick him up when I could see him start to open his eyes or cry.

Thank you all. I figured they would make a little sound I just didn’t think it would be that much lol. She probably sleeps more at night then I think then which I like!
