UPDATE!! Clomid for low t after t shots and 0 sperm

So to fill everyone in.

2011-Husband has a brain injury from Afghanistan.

2015- Army doctors put him on testosterone replacement shots when he was 26 ish.

We were married then and not trying to have kids. Fast forward two years to 28 and we want babies.

2017-Now with all his health issues I want him tested to make sure we aren’t trying for something that isn’t going to happen

My obgyn ignores me.

Winter 2017-Called his pcm and convinced him to just do a sperm analysis.

Nurse calls to ask if he’s ever had a vasectomy. 🤔🤔 well no.

Sperm count is at 0. Big fat zero. Not a single one.

Spring 2018- PCM refers us to urologist who confirms all the goods work 🙈

March 2018- Urologist refers us to endocrinologist who immediately freaks out over his testosterone shots. Advises him to start clomid.

Husband is freaked out since before the shots he had horrible symptoms of low t (his was in the 100s)

March 2018- Va manages to fuck up his refills and instead of weaning off the t and onto the clomid he has to go cold turkey.

May/June 2018-Got t tested it was in the 900s.

July 2018- we have what we think is a very early miscarriage.

August 2018- got sperm analysis done again.

Sperm 35.6 million

Progressive 52%

Normal sperm 13%

Total motile 65%

EVERYTHING is above average!

He is on 25 mg clomid every day. And likely will be for life as his brain injury has caused his Brain to not make testosterone himself.
