Moving out

I’m 16 now and me and a friend i’ve been close to since about 6th grade were planning on moving out freshman year of college and renting an apartment together. We are both thinking about applying for a community college build up some credits before going to a university etc , and we wanted to move close to where we live now to still be able to help our parents and vice versa. We’re going to be working the next 2 years saving up some money. However i’m not sure if this is a good idea. I’m already a individual person so i don’t think moving out would be a problem personally but idk , thoughts ?
