Amazing sex with a bad guy ?

okay, so last night i hooked up with this guy i met over the weekend. i know it was fast but it just felt right. he's been totally respectful so far, and the chemistry between us..i've never felt that before. the sex was amazing. so this morning, i went to look him up on facebook for some harmless stalking, all out of curiosity. a post came up of a bunch of people in my town basically saying what a shit person he is and how he's dishonest and a major douchebag. i don't believe anyone should talk shit about anybody on facebook or anywhere, especially public. but it made me pause, why would there be so many comments from different people if those things they were saying weren't at least a little true?

i'm definitely not looking for a relationship but i wouldn't mind having a no strings physical thing with someone. but i take kindness and morality really seriously and i don't want to be involved with someone inconsiderate or douchey. i'm considering just telling him i looked him up and saying what i saw, and seeing his reaction. i figure honesty is usually best anyways. but idk, what do you guys think? should i give him a chance? should i steer clear?

update: the reason i'm concerned is cause i believe you can totally have casual sex with someone but i also believe that you make yourself vulnerable to them no matter what and i don't want to open my own energy to someone who is bad news. but damn we were super compatible physically. i just don't have time or patience for fuckboys or someone i can't respect, even if my intentions aren't to date him. i guess i lowkey want to hear his side of it
