I never thought I'd get so lucky

This is going to be a long one

I haven't had the easiest life. I've had a lot of negative things happen to me from a very young age. I grew up thinking that's how life is and to live with it. I figured I would grow old, alone and never be in a committed relationship because i had such bad much anxiety and personal issues being close with someone ...until I met Matthew. The moment we met I felt a zing - that's the only way I can explain the inner feeling I had when I met him. In the last three years this man has helped me in so many ways. He loves me for me, made me comfortable with being intimate with someone, and has made me happy for 1,095 days. He proposed in May and initially I wanted to run away and elope. I didn't want my family to be apart of the day but I knew he wanted his family to be there. We discussed things and agreed on a small wedding of 30. Money is tight and even though I got more excited for a wedding I knew we couldn't afford it. His mother knew this and has been a saving grace ; she has given us her property for the venue, is paying for photography as a wedding present, bought us a vehicle as an additional wedding gift, and is helping with the decor and food for the wedding. His Nana gifted us our wedding bands, mine containing small diamonds in it since my engagement ring isn't real, his godfather is altering my dress for free and makes professional cakes and is gifting us our cake. I just don't know how I got so lucky ... his family is so kind and giving and I didn't come from that. I never really saw that growing up and I'm just amazed by the generosity of them. I don't deserve to marry into this amazing family. I never thought I'd get so lucky as to find someone like Matthew and I cannot wait to marry him next year. Sorry for the long story I'm just sk blessed and I need to come up with some way of thanking them for making the impossible possible.
