Late period

Ok....so, ive never made a post before and not sure what to think. Im a 30 year old single mom. I was expecting my period on the 25th of Aug. but as of right now Im 10 days late. I'm wanting to say its because I was sick the week I was suppose to get it, and that the meds the doc gave me has thrown me off...but I don't know.

I got my last period on July 25th, and haven't had any sex since July 24th....we used protection.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.
