SOS not being paid for driving work?

So I started a new job where I drive to training 1-2x week and its about a 2 hour drive ONE way with traffic.

Upon offer of hire from my boss boss i was told mileage would be reimbursed and my boss boss said I was not reimbursed for travel time.

Yet today on the phone he was like you'll be close to 32 so dont worry about it. I was like how I'm 6 hours short. Hes like oh your travel time you've been including it right?

I'm fuming. I was like what no could i ask the secretary to include it due to labor day cause i could only work 24 then? No.

Cause since week one the secretary has been inputting my hours and didnt ask once about travel time.

Could i use it as a day off? No.

So wtf.

So I've literally driven there 8 times and haven't accounted for those hours.

Cause while in training I can't technically go over 32 a week.

Someone who used to be a boss boss was like oh don't let them pull the wool over your eyes you could have them write you a check I'd do it all the time.

Help.

My boss was in the room overhearing th convo on yhe phone with my boss boss. Do i speak to him? Do i speak to my boss boss?

I don't want to sound like a grumpy bitch but thats literally 30 hours of unpaid time apparently. I also dont want to sound like a grumpy bitch in my email to my boss or whatnot.

I was truthfully under the impression that I wasn't being paid for travel. If i knew that I would have watched my hours accordingly and let the secretary know when she input the hours I worked. I wasn't informed about accounting for the travel time and I'd sincerely appreciate being reimbursed as it's fair"
