Tantrums! How do you handle them?
My son is 11 months old coming this Saturday. He lately is having big tantrums when he doesn’t get what he wants. The back arching rolling on the floor kind... Otherwise he’s extremely lovely, sweet, bubbly, happy and cuddly. My husband asked me the other day if it’s ok that he ignores him when he does that and when my son finally calms down he’ll give him a lot of affection. The idea was to not reward his bad behavior but give lots of attention and affection when he’s calm and being good. What do you guys think and what do you do? Is he too young to understand why he’s ignoring him? Or does this seem like the best approach?
