frequent call??

my friends make me feel my relationship with my boyfriend is not real because he doesn't call me time to time or message me everyday. he is so busy with work and he message me daily to check on me because he leaves far from me. I don't have a problem with him not calling or messaging me frequently because I love to have time for myself and I don't like clingy people, does frequent calling equate to love and should I be worry about my relationship? ?
