Would you choose to induce if there wasnt a major medical reason to do it?

39 weeks tomorrow and my doctor might want to induce due to the fact baby hasnt gotten bigger in a month.

my midwife does not recommend inducing unless I hit 42 weeks. then we need to get baby out asap. doctors tend to rush things I've noticed. I've heard doctors want you to get induced sometimes because it's a convenience for them, like a vacation or something lol what awful selfish advice

I wouldn't induce if there wasn't a medical reason so I answered no let him cook but then I read the rest of your post and yes you do have a medical reason to induce!! My son stopped growing and I had to be induced at 38 weeks because it wasn't safe for him.

I was induced with my first at 39 weeks because my doctor was going on vacation 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was induced with my first and there was no medical reason. I was 41 weeks. It ended up being necessary though because there was a problem with my placenta.
