Godparents

My husband and cannot seem to agree on godparents. I want my sister as godmother which he is fine with. My pick for godfather was my brother in law because we’re close with them. My husband wants someone from his side of the family which I understand. However he wants it to be his father. I really don’t want any grandparents to also be godparents as it would cause unnecessary jealousy and drama. Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this conflict?
