Is this glorifying childhood trauma?
I’m sure I’m not the only person who often sees people say on the internet that going through childhood trauma makes you more mature at a young age, more independent, caring and thoughtful etc. I personally don’t even agree with these statements as I have been through awful things in my childhood and I wouldn’t say I’m any more mature than another 17 year old, I wouldn’t say I’m more independent or caring either. Everybody has different reactions when they go through a bad situation.
Do you think this is glorifying trauma or is it just looking at their situation in a cup half full kind of way?
