Cold sore? Or just pimple on very dry/irritated area?

2 days ago I had terrible allergies and I was in school. No tissues so I was blowing my nose on cheap toilet paper and very hard hand drying paper... usually, after bad allergies I get a pimple like feeling inside my nostrils and/or a big pimple on my nose. This time, I saw a small bump under my nose the next day. My nose is still so dry (it was peeling off this morning) and it feels irritated but yesterday I thought this was just a pimple and decide it to pop it. Both small amount of liquid and white pus ? Came out and I kept scratching because I saw like a small white string in there (like a deep pimple) but i just left it there, added some sanitizer, and today I woke up and I looks like this. Now, I’ve scratched acne before and it looks like this, and since it’s near my irritated area I figured that’s why BUT I tested positive for HSV-1 a few month ago with my current boyfriend. I’ve never had a cold sore in the past so I’m wondering if this is the first one?... and I know! I’ll wax my face today 😩😭 too much hair!
