Are All T.G.I Fridays Bad?

This is so random but, I had a horrible experience at tgi Fridays last weekend. We arrived, it was a 25 minute wait which was fine with us, Then our host seated us and gave us menus....that was it. We didn't have a waiter come to our table or any utensils. We waited like 15 minutes before we flagged down a waiter who was serving a different table and he apologized and took down our drinks and appetizers. Then we waited 30 minutes. For some ice water, sprite and some mozzarella sticks. Then, we put in our entrees and it took literally an hour. We thought maybe the waiter forgot about us. We ended up being served by 4 different people. No refills on our drinks and the bill took forever to arrive. In total we were there for like 3 hours. It was very disorganized. I looked at the reviews for other T.GI. Fridays in my area and they were all horrible. Then, I got curious and looked at the reviews for other areas like in New York for example and they were all horrible too. Is this a thing?

Well first off, people are much quicker to write a terrible review than a great one. Second, you went to TGI Friday’s, leave your high hopes or even your neutral hopes, at the door.

Well I don’t even know where the closest TGI Friday’s is to me. I haven’t been in probably 10 years and I can’t even weigh in to chain restaurants because the only one around me is Chili’s. I do love chili’s though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hmm I have not been to T.G.I Friday’s in years so I can’t comment on the quality of service now, because where I live my area has an different array of dining options that I pretty much never go there. But I can definitely believe when a chain restaurant goes south. 🤷🏽‍♀️

We go to TGIF all the time. Every now and then there is bad service. But that’s a total lack of communication from the front to the servers. I actually served at TGIF a long time ago. I love the food and their happy hour is awesome.

They used to be so much better. We don’t go there anymore because the service and the food is so terrible now

I’ve never eaten there, but we even have them in Czech Republic 😂 all the best chains come here.

I’ve NEVER been to a bad Friday’s. It’s sooooo good

Maybe the U.K. ones are better than the ones in the states, never had bad service in one here, I've had food that I didn't like but that's just me being a fussy eater and not their fault at all. I've been to several around the U.K. and have all been the same level of service (OH loves the ribs they do there so it's one of his favourite places to eat)
