Kids watching births

I read somewhere that 'some' people think that letting children watch you give birth can traumatised them in early and later child hood.

How do you feel about letting them watch programmes related to birth?

Not saying you sit then down and say here watch this... more like if you are watching it and they tag along.

My wee girl is 5 and she watches one born every minute with me. She is fascinated. She wants to be at her sisters birth. She knows where the baby comes from, one of 2 places.

Just interested in other people's opinions on this...
