So we've been dating for about 6 months now and I've fallen in love. I'm 20 btw.

This is the first time for me in love too so it's all new and a bit scary. We've joked before about how I wouldn't say it in case he replied something like 'thanks' and made it awkward.

I'm kinda the more standoffish one and I'm not very romantic usually haha.

I'm not sure if he's there yet and I wanted to have him say it first but I don't think I can hold it in any longer, whenever we finish a phone call or I fall asleep in his arms it's on the tip of my tongue.

I'm just scared of what will come immediately after, it will be so awkward if he doesn't say it back 😣 advice needed!!
