A harsh lesson⚠️

Moms with toddlers.. or any kids: Please check your microwaves before using!

My son likes to press the buttons and I honestly thought nothing much of it if I’m standing there.( dumb on my part )

Today when my son was waking from a nap, I threw in a bag of microwave popcorn for a snack.

A few minutes went by and I smelled something awful and ran into a fire in the microwave! My son must have left a toy -I’m assuming plastic.

I’m staying anonymous because I’m so embarrassed and should know better. (Just posting to help out a former mother) ****
